Things That Evolves Me

Ever experience something in your life that makes you become more mature and evolve you as a person. Well, there are endless possibilities that life can offer, but only a few of it that we get to experience before reaching twenties. So, I will talk about the things I’ve experienced up until now, that made me change my way of thinking and accepting all of it as a part of my life. I am sure some of the things that I will share, are the things that most of us also have experienced it in their life.

Let me start with the first one, heartbreak. I am sure that most of us had experienced heartbreaks. It is the feeling of devastation where it is really hard for us to accept fact. There is a thing or two that you might have learnt from it such as to not repeat the same heartbreak in life and the most important thing is moving on with your life. Well, if you still can’t move on, just take your time and without you realizing it, you already accept it as a part of your life. If there is a thing that stopping you off from progressing, just take a step back and take two steps forward. My advice is, let it out to someone you very close to you such as your family or your friends are the first step to move on.

Next is, be the best at the thing you do best. What I see in life, almost all of us are average in the things that we do, but different people has that one thing they do best from the others. Usually, that one thing is something that we really love to do. It depends on different people and perspectives, that one thing can be in form of studies, sports or even skills. At least once in your life, feel the high of being ‘the best one’, even if it is only for a moment. During my high school days, I found a few of the things that I am good at and I worked really hard to bring it to a whole new level. Devoting oneself to what you enjoy and improving yourself, isn’t that what it means to have fun?

Moving on to the next one, is living away from family. Nothing makes you wiser than being on your own away from family. When you are young, it is better for your own good because it will enhance your decision-making skill and it teaches you to survive on your own. You will be far away from your family, but you will also meet new people that comes and goes in your life. You will find from thousands of them, only a few that can stick with you till the end. They accept you as it is and will be there during your ups and downs. You may be living on your own, but you can count on them when you need any supports.

Let us proceed to, having a part time job. I am very sure most of us already know what they want to do in their life and they have their own dream career. Well, before you continue furthering your studies to realize your dream career, try having the experience of working anywhere for a few months as a part timer. Trust me, you will gain a lot of benefits from it. You will know the how hard is it to earn the money and it will shape you before entering the busy life of working at your dream career. You will learn the true value of money. The things that you learnt from your part time, may also be a skill that benefits you in the future.

Lastly, a taste of failure. Fail at least once. Failure is an experienced that makes you feel lost at first, but the beauty of it, if someone can accept his weakness and take it positively, they can succeed better in life than people who never fail before. Don’t be afraid to lose. Failure will only make you stronger physically and mentally. Without knowing the taste of failure, you would not be able to appreciate success. The one who has hit rock bottom and make their way up ‘make legends’. There’s also a saying goes like this, “winner never quit, quitter never win”.

In conclusion, as you growing up older by day, many new things you will experience. Just take all the things that come in your life positively. You will be sure to look back on your past, and can only smile as you have already overcome it. People were not given time to change their past, instead they were given more time in the present to learn from it and were given the future to avoid the same mistakes from happening all over again. Well, to those who read this, it is never too late to experience new things in life. Never getting to try many different things in youth time, are the biggest regret of all.
