He had the skill of influencing the minds of his followers and was adept at using propaganda to bring the entire nation under his control. He used the media to influence the minds of people to advance his cause. He understood the power it had on people and utilized it maximally and targeted groups rather than individuals. He was knowledgeable in influencing the way people thought, acted, and behaved by using regular propaganda to get his message across and it worked very well for him. It was easy for Hitler to endear himself to people especially those who worked closely with him so much so that they could go to the extremes in order to please him. Known as the man who conquered the world, he is always said the greatest military leader of all time. Born in 356 BC and died at the age of  33, he had the largest empire in the history which stretched from Greece to India. He won every battle he fought with his strong and loyal army. 1. Have a compelling vision
Alexander’s actions demonstrate what can be accomplished when a person is totally focused—when he or she has clarity coupled with a ‘magnificent obsession’. Through dramatic gestures and great rhetorical skills, Alexander spoke to the collective imagination of his people and won the commitment of his followers.
2. Be unsurpassed in execution
Alexander not only had a compelling vision, he also knew how to make that vision become reality. By maintaining an excellent information system, he was able to interpret his opponent’s motives and was a master at coordinating all parts of his military machine. No other military leader before him ever used speed and surprise with such dexterity. He knew the true value of the statement “One is either quick or one is dead!”

Teamwork by Siddiq

Assalamualaikum and good day to everyone , this entry I will talk about teamwork, not among men but among animals. I want to show to all of you even beings of no free will or the ability that human has needs teamwork to cope with life. Now let us begin!

The first animal I want talk about is ants. Yes ants. Ants may not be big in size but they go through any challenges as a swarm or colony. Small in size but large in numbers can make a difference in the animal kingdom. Ants only have one queen and army to protect its queen and the larva's. I know you have seen ants trying to save it colony but making a raft on top of the water during rainy season. Instead of running around frantically , the ants work together to achieve a common goal which is to SURVIVE.

Now lets discuss about the second animal is orca or in other name killer whale. Killer whale work together to find food mostly. their main food is seals. Orcas always hunt in formations. Formations varies on situation on prey. They are quite an intelligent animals and can manage how to get their food

Last astonishing animal that conveys teamwork like no other are *drum rolls* BEES!!!!!! Let me tell most of the traits I found in the internet. First, Good communication is the heart of any team, bees uses pheromones and vibration to communicate to each other. Second, Bees moves like a single organism when performing a task. We can learn from them and actually know how your colleagues think and act, single organism remember? Third, bees are prepared for the worst conditions, proof of that is they store as much honey as they can during daylight. Us humans must bee-prepared just like the bees. We never know what could happen in the future. Like a saying sound better safe than sorry.

That is the end of blog , all of the pictures were taken at google images. Thank you everyone and assalamualaikum.

How to Manage People

Managing people is something that we need to study and experience. Nothing comes easy in this world. You can be a leader but you will not have the abilities to manage people. You can manage people but you are not a leader. From these sentences, it can be explained that being a leader and managing people are two different things. Today, on this beautiful morning, I would like to share with you about how to manage people.

The first thing to do when managing people is to get rid of the word manager and change it with leader. Leader is not born, it is made. My lecturer told me this and it is somehow true. So when you have the mindset of leader, people would  be following your orders because you're in control of everything.

Next, you need to have a bit sense of humour. Why am I saying this, because there are times when you need to be serious when managing people and there are times where you need to have sense of humour. People do not like to work in a stressful place because its hard to work. So you need to know how and when to act to manage people.

Next, you need to treat everyone equally. You need to remember that not everyone is the same. They dont have the same kind of problems. So be sensitive to them because we do not know what are the things that they are facing. Positions are important be people need to be treated equally.

Furthermore, you need to know the strengths and the weaknesses of your team. You must remember that everybody is different. Not everyone is capable of doing what you want but this thing can be improved. The only thing that you need to have is faith. When you as a leader have faith in your team, the productivity will be increased. Whenever your team has something, you need to sit together and discuss on how to improve it.

Not only what I've mentioned above, you need to learn how to communicate. Communication is very important, you need to learn how and when to say things in front of your team. Communication is also important to make sure that things that are delivered is well understood so that they can carry out the task easily.

There are things that people need to learn. They need to improve themselves, they cannot stay within their comfort zone, they need to stay  out of comfort zone so that they can challenge themselves. There are many other ways on how to manage people but for me, these are the key element that you need to have when managing your team. Have a good day!

The Importance of Teamwork

Good evening peopleeeee....
So, on this fine evening, I would like to share with you guys about one teamwork story. It was 6 months ago, I attended this leadership camp. This camp was only for rank holders and it was held at this one hotel, Melaka Central Hotel, if im not mistaken. So, we did this one activity called "walking on the masking tape". This activity is very simple, all they need to have is one group consisting of 6 people and a masking tape. The instruction is very simple, they need to start from a starting point and finish at the finishing point and the masking tape cannot be cut or parted. So they need to make sure that the tape is in good condition and they need to work with each other as a team. We were given 2 minutes to prepare. Most of the groups were prepared as they discussed the plan thoroughly but none of the groups managed to do it except one group. We were shocked because they could do it. Then the person in charge explained that it was not because of their body size or whatsoever, it's because of teamwork. Everything is possible if you guys are working together as a team. So that is one of the things that i have learnt from the camp.

As you can see, teamwork is very important. So today, I would like to share with you guys about the importance of teamwork. The first one would be it motivates unity in the workplace environment. As for me, working environment is very important because it promotes an atmosphere that fosters friendship and family. You know this kind of bond is really good because you can work in harmony and peace. Therefore, work done or workload can be decreased because of the atmosphere.

Next thing is that it offers different perspectives and feedback. So, as we all know this thing is a good thing. For example we are working in one place and Im sure that all of us are coming from different states, nationalities, beliefs and so on. These things would not separate us. Why did I simply say it? Because when we are not the same, we can have a brainstorm session which in turn increases their success to solve problems and arrive with conclusions for any other matters. From this also, sharing of experiences among colleagues would enhance the decision making and so on. This would make people wiser, and can enhance their critical thinking skills. We must admit that not everyone is having the same brain like us, all we need to do is to accept people's opinion and learn how to work together as a team.

The next importance of teamwork is it improves efficiency and productivity. When working as a team, the pressure of having tremendous amount of workload can be reduced. How it can be done? By sharing the workload with the peers and this would improve the efficiency compared to working alone. Teamwork is also important because it can improve the productivity of the organization or the company.

The last importance of teamwork is to promote workplace synergy. So what do you guys really understand about synergy? Synergy is the interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects. How to make sure that this thing can be achieved? They need to have mutual support, shared goals, encouragement and cooperation. With this, team members are able to feel a greater accomplishment, are collectively responsible for outcomes achieved and feed the individuals with the incentive to perform at higher levels.

In conclusion, teamwork is very important for everything. It is applied to all kind of things and it is very beneficial to everyone because things can be done in shorter time, efficiently and well mannered.
