Pol Pots was a leader in politics whose communist Khmer Rouge government led Cambodia from 1975 to 1979. At that time, an estimated of 1.5 to 2 million Cambodians died of starvation, execution, disease or overwork. S-21 was a detention center that is known to be so notorious that only seven of the roughly 20,000 people imprisoned there are known to have survived. The Khmer Rouge, took particular aim at intellectuals, city residents, ethnic Vietnamese, civil servant and religious leaders. Even some historians claim that Pol Pot regime as one of the most barbaric and murderous in recent history.

Pol Pots real name is Saloth sar, was born in 1925 in the small village of Prek Sbauv, located about 100 miles north of the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh. He moved to the capital in 1934 until 1949, he went to Paris on a scholarship. In Paris, he studied radio technology and became active in communist circles.

Y'all can find a more detail about Pol Pots in the net. What I would like to share with you all is the Cambodian genocide. After the Khmer Rogue evacuated Phnom Penh's 2.5 million residents. Former civil servants, doctors, teachers and other professionals were stripped of their profession and forced to toil in the fields as part of a re-education process. For those who defy the system will be tortured in a detention center, such as S-21, and then killed. During the Cambodian genocide, the bones of millions of people who died from malnutrition, overwork or inadequate health care also filled up mass graves across the country.

Under Pol Pot, he controlled all aspects of a person's life. Money, private property, jewelry, gambling, reading materials outlawed and many more. He became the prime minister and renamed the country of Democratic Kampuchea. During his reign , borderly skirmishes were occurring regularly between the Cambodians and the Viatnamese.

In 1997 a Khmer Rouge splinter group captured Pol Pot and placed him under house arrest. He died in his sleep on April 15, 1998, at 72 due to heart failure. A United Nations-backed tribunal has convicted only a handful of Khmer Rouge leaders of crimes against humanity.

With this device, Cousteau and his crew were able to explore and film parts of the ocean depths that had never been seen before. His underwater documentaries brought a new world of viewers. These documentaries had common goal "Their message was 'Come with me and look at this wonderful thing and see how it acts and behaves," said by Merrriam, a spokesperson for the Cousteau Society. Merraim also said " It was a deep and complete introduction for the general public to the undersea world." All Cousteau and his society work so hard is too enlighten us with the diverse creatures that dwells beyond our sight living deep in the dark blue sea.

Capt. Jacques Cousteau, was Late-Blooming Environmentalist, restricts commercial whaling in 1986. The moratorium remains in place today, though some countries still hunt whales in the name of scientific research. Not only that, he organized a popular campaign against a French government plan to dump nuclear waste products into the Mediterranean Sea in 1960 - and took his fight straight to the president of the republic. His efforts was always to conserve the beauty and well being of the sea, as he know that, the ocean also known as the Blue Garbage by seafarers, could offer us humans more that we thought.

We all remember when the Japanese invaded our beloved country way back when. Their tyranny was cruel to every single soul to our people. these particular hero saved our people medically from the invaders. As the soldiers show no mercy to women and children at Papan, Perak, Sybil with her husband, Dr. AC Kathigasu, she supplied medicine, medical assistance and information to the resistance forces. Unfortunately she was captured by the Japanese soldiers in 1943.

Even her daughter had been tortured in the process but she never told them anything. Teamwork by Siddiq

Assalamualaikum and good day to everyone , this entry I will talk about teamwork, not among men but among animals. I want to show to all of you even beings of no free will or the ability that human has needs teamwork to cope with life. Now let us begin!

The first animal I want talk about is ants. Yes ants. Ants may not be big in size but they go through any challenges as a swarm or colony. Small in size but large in numbers can make a difference in the animal kingdom. Ants only have one queen and army to protect its queen and the larva's. I know you have seen ants trying to save it colony but making a raft on top of the water during rainy season. Instead of running around frantically , the ants work together to achieve a common goal which is to SURVIVE.
taken at google images

Now lets discuss about the second animal is orca or in other name killer whale. Killer whale work together to find food mostly. their main food is seals. Orcas always hunt in formations. Formations varies on situation on prey. They are quite an intelligent animals and can manage how to get their food

Last astonishing animal that conveys teamwork like no other are *drum rolls* BEES!!!!!! Let me tell most of the traits I found in the internet. First, Good communication is the heart of any team, bees uses pheromones and vibration to communicate to each other. Second, Bees moves like a single organism when performing a task. We can learn from them and actually know how your colleagues think and act, single organism remember? Third, bees are prepared for the worst conditions, proof of that is they store as much honey as they can during daylight. Us humans must bee-prepared just like the bees. We never know what could happen in the future. Like a saying sound better safe than sorry.

That is the end of blog , all of the pictures were taken at google images. Thank you everyone and assalamualaikum.
