The next hero or heroin I'm going to talk about is Datuk Siti Rasmah Kasim. You might never heard about her name and what she had done for our country. She is the contributor of the Independence Day of Malaysia. Her actions of the greater good of the nation is called "The Bangle of Independece". She donated her Gold bangle to support Tunku Abdul Rahman's trip to London to obtain the country's Independence. Because of Datuk's actions, many others also contributed their jewelry or accessories to fund our first Prime Minister's trip.

The last hero of Malaysia is called Sybil Medan Kathigasu or also known as the Florence Nightingale of Malaysia. We all remember when the Japanese invaded our beloved country way back when. Their tyranny was cruel to every single soul to our people. these particular hero saved our people medically from the invaders. As the soldiers show no mercy to women and children at Papan, Perak, Sybil with her husband, Dr. AC Kathigasu, she supplied medicine, medical assistance and information to the resistance forces. Unfortunately she was captured by the Japanese soldiers in 1943.

She received devastating tortures by the Japanese soldiers but never once spill out the beans regarding the resistance forces. Even her daughter had been tortured in the process but she never told them anything. Sybil was awarded with the George Medal of Gallantry, making her the first and only Malayan woman to receive the medal. 12 June 1948 in Lanark, Scotland, she succumbed to her injuries and to commemorate her bravery and loyalty , a road in Fair park, Ipoh was named after her.

They are a lot more stories that we may not know of. If any of you know any please enlighten every Malaysian to know they effort and sacrifice for our future now an
