Ride n Eat : MELAKA

 Assalamualaikum, Rise and shine peeps!

It's time for food hunting!
Where?
This time I decided to Ride n Eat somewhere in the historical city of Malacca.
Yeahh, you may find various kind of food here and this shall include not only traditional cuisine but also dessert.

So what are you waiting for? Check these out guys.

Location 1: Coconut Shake Original Klebang

If you come to Klebang (GPS Coordinate: 2.210120, 102.191577) it is a must for you to try the famous Coconut Shake Original Klebang. Their stall is just at the roadside of the main road, and you are given 2 choices.

1.       Q up, and take away or,
2.    If you wish to sit for a while while enjoying a cup of coconut shake, you may proceed to their main stall

I think I was so lucky then since at the moment I came here, there’s no customer at all! What a miracle (for me lah). Normally we can see a lot of people queue up, and the traffic become slow due to the unethical driver whom parked their car in the middle of the road.

Krikk krikk krikk!

Nice retro bike!

So, how about the taste of a cup of Coconut Shake Original Klebang which will cost you around RM 2.70?
I would say Perfectooo! I can taste the freshness of the coconut, mixed together with the vanilla ice cream and the combination is just so great!

Hey beauty 😍

Location 2: Mango Float Royale

Mango Float Royale! I was wondering what is so great until they become viral recently. Is it because of the Royale word? Or is it because of the taste? Lets give a shot.
Their stall located at Kampung Sungai Putat, Ayer Keroh (2.2558° N, 102.2636° E) and it wasn’t hard to find. BUT! I think the main problem you will face here is; car park! What I can say is they have a very very very limited car park, and it is quite dangerous if you want to park at the roadside since the main road is always full of vehicles especially during peak hours (I went there around 1300H bytheway).

As you can see there is a huge signage here (a replica of mango float). Goshhh so tempting!

Ahaaa here I need to queue up since plenty customers waiting for their Mango Float.
Fyi, a cup of Mango Float will cost you RM5 and frankly speaking, Memang Berbaloi !

Why I said so?

Tadaa! Huge cup

There were plenty of mango slices/cubes inside and they are so fresh and as sweet as it looks, slurrrppp ahhhh!

Location 3: Tappers Cafe

(2.1908° N, 102.2499° E)
Tapper's Cafe' is a garden-like cafe which will serve you a different feeling once you enter the premise. The interior design is most likely to be English style (I would say).

Set Lunch. Since I was so hungry (or we can say starving) so I decide to try their Beef Lasagna, Mashed Potato and Onion Rings for my lunch. At first, I thought the mashed potato will be in a small portion just like what we have in those fast-food restaurant. I was so wrong!

Roughly it is 15 cm in diameter!

Took me 15 minutes to finish it till the last piece of minced beef

Crispy Onion Rings

Luckily I was so hungry that I able to finish it all while enjoying the pleasant view from the window nearby.

Location 4: Resepi Bondaku

In my previous entry, I did list out Nasi Ayam@Chicken Rice as one of my target but due to the time constraint I wasn't able to try it. So on my way back to Alam, I noticed there is a restaurant specialised in serving Nasi Ayam as their main attraction.

What a coincidence, when I stepped into the restaurant there are 2 customers enjoying their Nasi Ayam and they were actually my roommates =D but the don't even noticed me as they were too busy with their Nasi Ayam hmm I guess the taste must be so good then.

Restoran Resepi Bondaku (2.3502° N, 102.1113° E)

Landmark: Maybank Masjid Tanah, Melaka.

Resepi Pengubat Hati Yang Duka 😭

Got Rojak and Laksa also

I would recommend this restaurant to you guys since everything about it is excellent. The service, environment, and the most important is the Nasi Ayam itself which taste so good.

So, this is how I end my Ride n Eat : Melaka Edition and for your information it cost me around RM60 for foods and fuel. Have a safe ride fellas! Till we meet again in another session.
