JDT vs Melaka United

Hey fellas! Assalamualaikum.

It’s me Aril. In this entry I would like to share about my trip to Hang Jebat Stadium in Melaka on last 6th May 2017 to watch a soccer game between my favorite football club which is Johor Darul Ta’zim FC and Melaka United!

Ayuh Johor, Luaskan Kuasamu!

Just to recap, the previous match between these two clubs in Stadium Larkin, Johor showing that Melaka united is not a real match to JDT as they were beaten 7-0 and for sure this time Melaka United will fight till their last breath. I’m expecting a good game from both teams.
I went there with my friends, Afiq and Nasir which both are die-hard football fans. We arrived there a little bit early around 0900 since we were expecting a full crowd of fans waiting to buy their tickets. BUT we are totally wrong as only few Melaka United fans waiting for the ticket counter to be opened up.

So what’s so hurry?

Grrrrr! Our stomach screaming asking for food luckily got one stall right next to the entrance of this stadium. Nasi Lemak Daun Pisang + Kopi Tarik really made our day!

The ship owner is actually from Johor and turn out her house is nearby to Nasir’s house. What a coincidence.
While waiting for the game to start, we did some sightseeing around Melaka town, go for makanmakan and went to workshop fixing our broken car heh!

We entered the stadium which is now full of both Melaka and Johor fans; I would say almost 10,000 fans were there that night. One side was full of Green-colored jersey (Melaka fans) and the other side was filled with Red-Blue colored jersey (Johor).

We enjoyed the game so much since both teams were trying their best to score a goal and after 15 minutes from the 2nd half kickoff, JDT scored a goal through Safiq Rahim from his nice n curving free kick. That is not the end since Melaka United then gain their motivation and lastly 3 minutes before the game end, Jeon-Woo Young scored a goal for Melaka United to tie the result. What a relieve for Melaka team as they managed to discard the 7-0 Nightmare from the last game. Congrats to both teams for showing a good tactical throughout the game.
