Although Chinese New Year has past, the
Lasallians from Klang Valley gathered for our another session of Reach Out. It
was pretty different than our regular Reach Out because it was out first food
and toiletries drive. To make it even more meaningful, we had a collaboration
with our Lasallian family from La Salle Klang.
With a team of 24 people (combinations of
Lasallians and non Lasallians from various places) we manage to gather enough
items that could last them a month or two (max). Our eventful morning comprises
of morning tea serving, tang yuan making, singing of CNY songs, a lil bit of
energizers, ang pao and goody bag giving and also lunch (courtesy of La Salle
Klang). It was a pretty good mixture of every lil things since everyone seemed
to be enjoying themselves, including the old folks.
On behalf of the team, I
would like to personally acknowledge contributions from our Lasallians family.
Of course, without fail, to all those who came to be part of the Reach Out
today, kudos for sparing your morning at the homes. I'm pretty sure, it's not
an easy thing to be giving up your beauty sleep just to be at the old folks.
Till the next Reach Out.
Viva Lasallians!
